Week 2 Walk This Way! Pedometer Challenge

The Sole Sisters were most improved in their step counts for week 2. As a team they walked an additional 126,758 steps compared to week 1. That's 63 more miles! Way to go, Michele Whitmore, Barb Flathers and Jenn Stefanski. When asked what they did differently this is the teams list:

Well, there are many reasons- · Encouraged by the Penguins & used that as our motivation. · Actually added up the actual number of steps this week · Spent the weekend out in the woods cutting trees. · Creative ways to use our pedometers- having family members wear them, putting them in the dryer to tumble, attaching them to a pet’s collar…. · We’re all just a lot more active this week. · But mostly, we implemented the OMAR process -Ongoing Movement, Actively Recalculated!

Congratulations also to Alice Kirk who works in the library who spent week 2 touring Washington D.C. She walked 95,736 during her week of exploration. That's about 47 miles!
